Management positions at the property level include General Manager and Assistant General Manager. The team is comprised of Front Office Associates, Maintenance Technicians/Groundskeepers and Housekeepers. To succeed as a Jameson Inn manager, one must be first a strong and capable manager of people. It is also important to have the ability to handle guests and their issues, vendors, business prospects and any other person or group that requires special attention and responsive action.
Other skills and abilities expected of Jameson Inn managers include recruiting and interviewing, hiring and firing, sound fiscal management and planning of the hotel's budget. The most important trait a successful manager possesses is his/her honor, integrity and work ethic.
